Mackie 1402VLZ4 er kjent som en skikkelig arbeidshest-mikser med svært solid metallkabinett og tette kontroller, noe som gjør at den tåler mye både i studio og live. Onyx-mikrofonforforsterkerne gir rikelig med gain, lite støy og stor dynamikk, som gir en klar og transparent lyd. Brukere liker det kompakte 14-kanalsformatet, fleksibel ruting via ALT 3/4 og to aux-sends, som gjør den godt egnet til små band, video og prosjektstudioer. Det finnes likevel noen begrensninger: det er ikke innebygd USB- eller digitalt grensesnitt, så du trenger et separat lydkort for opptak. Mikseren går kun på nettstrøm og har ingen innebygde effekter, noe som kan kreve ekstra utstyr til livebruk. For kjøpere som først og fremst vil ha en pålitelig analog mikser med gode preamper og robust byggkvalitet, er dette likevel et svært godt valg.

We use it mostly for mixing down analog instruments with output from a computer interface. The separate Control Room outputs and fader are a big plus. The Alt 3/4 outputs (selected when you press Mute on a channel) are great for recording one or more channels while listening to the whole mix—the control room outputs can consist of the main and/or Alt 3/4 busses, separately selectable. Optionally you can return this to the main output bus. Because the monitor speaker and headphone outputs are tied to the same fader, I used the 1/4" Main outputs to drive a separate headphone amp with adjustable volumes. The XLR Main outputs go back to the computer interface for recording the mix. So far haven't had occasion to try the mic inputs but reportedly the Onyx preamps are excellent. Glad I got this little guy. Perfect replacement for our "old faithful" CR1604.

just got my 1402vlz.4 one hour before jam band practice perfect timing zZounds. really happy with it a lot better than my yamaha board. thank you. Musical Background: 25 years acoustic guitar jam home and around Musical Style: classic tunes cat stevens neil young etc.

broken mixer channel 3 and 4 is broken very dissipated with Sweetwater warranty and all support is already expired there will not be a next time for me good luck
