The sound quality sucks and turns off after a few minutes of silence. Two way talk doesn't work and can't be heard on the baby end. I wanted to use this to monitor my disabled wife but returning it and buying another brand. Working distance is less than 100 feet and not 1,ooo feet. If you love what's on the other end don't waste your money.

Dislike! The volume is too low on the highest setting and the speak button is difficult to use because You have to wait until it beeps before you can talk. The monitors are too lightweight, which causes them to fall over all the time.

This is a product that only needs to do one thing: provide the parent or babysitter with reliable, functional audio monitoring of the child's room. This product fails in its core purpose. The volume is inadequate, even when adjusted to maximum. The link between the two units fails consistently, even though the distance between them was well within the range one would expect in a typical, modest sized home. Finally, the battery charge life was very short. My advice is that you spend a little more money for a more powerful and reliable unit.

I’ve had this monitor for a little over a year and I’be been really happy with it. I’m ordering another after my FIL let my toddler use the parent unit as a soccer ball, sigh. I had a graco brand monitor for my first child and this one is light years better. I always put the base unit on the floor behind the crib and I can hear clearly with the volume on level 2. I like the room temperature reading even though it’s a bit skewed from being on the floor. I only used the two-way talk feature once but it worked fine. Overall it’s a great monitor for the price without the overkill of a video monitor.
