Philips Shaver Series 5000 S5889/11 får ros for behagelig barbering, også for sensitiv hud. De 360° fleksible hodene følger ansiktskonturene godt og gir et glatt resultat. Apparatet kan brukes både vått og tørt og har lang batteritid med hurtiglading. De selvslipende bladene holder seg skarpe lenge. Ulemper er at trimmeren ikke alltid holder seg i posisjon og noen ganger klapper sammen, samt at det kan være små stubber igjen på halsen etter bruk. Kun USB-kabel følger med, ingen adapter. Alt i alt en allsidig og hudvennlig barbermaskin, men med noen små ulemper.

I’ve tried a few and this is the best shave for wet and dry.The flex action of the heads keeps contact with every nook and cranny of my face

If I would of pay the full price before sale I would of sent it straight back. It takes about 10 minutes to have the shaver with results and still leaves loads of air on me.

I was given a philishave razor for my 21st birthday and used it for many many years. Roll on fifty years and I was considering getting a new cordless razor. Having bought a Braun series 9 which I used for a couple of years dropped it in the shower and tried to get it repaired which didn’t prove cost effective. I looked around and the most cost effective solution was to purchase a Philips, which I did. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how good it was and looked. It was like welcoming home an old friend.
