Mikamax Storm Glass - Stor dråpe

Looks great and does work! I'd spotted these before and was looking for something a little different and unusual for my son's birthday. It comes with a lovely wooden base to sit on and is lovely to look at. We weren't sure if it was actually going to work as nothing changed inside the glass drop for days, and we thought we'd just have to accept that it was going to be just a decorative item. However, as the weather is turning and a storm due - according to the weather reports - all of the little crystals inside have now suddenly spiked upwards and are amazing to look at, creating a whole new look. I'm hoping that we will actually get to see it in full on swirling mode when we get a storm as it will be brilliant to see it if it does. It's a lovely item anyway and a bit different if you're stuck for a gift idea.
