I always pat into skin morning and night before my serums.... it takes the product deeper into the skin, I always notice a difference when I don't use it. Its the same as an essence and plumps up my skin with moisture and helps with wrinkles also. Always on my shopping list - all of their softeners/essences are amazing!!
