I really enjoy wearing Absolu Aventus, as it adds a lovely spiciness to the familiar DNA, in my opinion. The spicier notes make the fragrance feel noticeably deeper and heavier. That is exactly why I think it is ideal for autumn and winter. The feedback from those around me has also been consistently positive - people I know respond well to the fragrance, and like it, without finding it overpowering. I rarely get customers at work asking me about a fragrance, but this one has prompted them to do so. A truly beautiful and refined evolution. In my case, it is probably an older batch in the 75 ml version.

No complaints about Creed it's self , classic, elegant and long lasting. However, how John Lewis delivered it was atrocious. This is an expensive item, no bubble wrap, just a simple brown paper almost envelope it was delivered in. Which went the box was smashed to pieces. Really bad customer service.

Let's get the John Lewis experience out of the way, it is amazing as you know it. John Lewis is a brand that respect its customers. Now getting back to the perfume, what can I say, it blew me away when I fists spray it then it became a skin scent staring away. Couldn't believe my senses. I read reviews on Reddit about it, that it needs time to oxidise but I doubt that its performance will improve. I bought Coromandel a year ago and that perfume has an exceptional performance with at least 24 hours decent projection at a similar price. I will give it another couple of months and try it again. If it's the same I will put it for sale.
