Hermès Paris Rouge Hermes EDT B 100 ml

Hermés Rouge is one of my favourite perfumes and a mainstay of my collection. It is the consumate spicy oriental, with ginger, pepper, and Ylang Ylang notes creating an enveloping shroud of rich spice. I prefer the vintage formulation and I have a bottle from the 1980's that I treasure. This scent definitely makes me think of "rich grandma". But the kind of grandma who sneaks cigarettes out on the back patio and dances to jazz in the parlour.

My grandmother wore hermes rouge, and I inherited my love of it from her. Unfortunately they no longer make the parfum have modified the current edition somewhat. It still has a fleeting reminder of when I was small this is what I am chasing when I wear it now but I wish Hermes would replicate the original I am sure there is a market. This version is lighter and b'cos of thar lingers not

Rouge by Hermes EDT smells like Rouge Royal by Marina de Bourbon, which is a more affordable alternative. Smells beautiful, like an old French aristocratic mansion's crimson velvet curtains lit by candlelight chandeliers. Very "red" smell. LOVE IT!

Hermes Rouge I love the smell of it, I bought one when I went to Paris on 2016, its almost at the end of the bottle. Still smells so good. I wonder if its the same smell when I buy it here in the USA

After searching for a fragrance closest to Parfum 'd Hermes which I wore 30 years ago I have found it in Rouge.
