La Vie Est Belle er en svært holdbar frukt-patchouli-duft med imponerende sillage og varighet. Selv om den får mange komplimenter og har en sterk fanbase, er det en temperamentfull duft som er sterkt avhengig av påføring og hudhemikali. Med lett påføring i kaldt vær føles det behagelig søtt og pudret, men med tyngre påføring blir det syntetisk, skarp og overdrevent søt. Duften er relativt enkel og kan bli kjedelig raskt. Det er ideelt for de som søker en langvarig, iøynefallende duft, men ikke for de som verdsetter subtilitet eller kompleksitet.

I have both the regular La Vie Est Belle and this intense version. I feel this intense one is, well too intense! It smells similar to the regular but heavier and less fresh floral- more distilled floral. It is very long lasting which I do like. As the day wears on its intensity fades and then I like it so much better. I like the way it lingers on my nightwear, coats, scarves etc I will buy the regular one again instead of this one next time.
