Mancera Black Line Eau de Parfum 120 ml

... late in the bar. The women and men have remembered the line from the Threepenny Opera "And you see them in the light. Those in the dark you do not see." They are the ones standing in the dark and do not want to be seen. Upon application, spices hit the nose first, quickly joined by rose, leather, amber, and patchouli, making the scent dark and abyssal. Before it falls into infinity, sandalwood and musk come in to catch it and make it a little brighter again. The longevity and sillage are very good. A perfume suitable for both ladies and gentlemen. The scent can be worn well in the evening. Those who like it dark will find it here, at a very good price-performance ratio.

A dark rose oud, which you're thinking you've smelled before, but this is one of the best. Smells a bit like Montale's Black Aoud (unsurprisingly.)

Absolutely love it! Love at first sniff a juicy rose oud combo something like New York Oud but done in ifs own way. Compliment mschine

Another very nice rose/oud fragrance from the house of Mancera. As a house, Mancera and it's sister Montale, have overplayed the rose/out accord to death IMO, but much of what they offer is very well done and have subtle differences for experienced noses. Black Line to me is a more traditional Middle Eastern scent that's been westernized. While there's no oud listed in the note breakdown, the combination of spice, leather, amber, patchouli and woods provides a softer oud tone that is easier to wear than the real or synthetic out the house typically employs. The rose is also drier and softer to match, but there's still the Mancera trademark performance. I like Black Line and given the excellent value from Mancera fragrances, would consider Black Line full bottle worthy.

I’m trying hard with this one. It has to grow on me. The dry down is nice but it’s potent right out the bottle!
