Great ergonomics for me. I have a few mirrorless and a couple of D7500s too, but the grip and overall handling of the D780 is excellent. The ability to shoot many hundreds of images on a single battery is a great benefit. The rear screen could be a bit brighter in very sunny conditions and whilst this is usually the case with others, Ive noticed it more on the 780, but otherwise, Im very happy. The low light performance on aperture priority is excellent +.

Will be used mainly for taking pictures of my dogs and Birds. I have only had it a few weeks and the weather has been overcast and rainy so haven't had much chance to get the most out of it, however, the camera is more than capable of handling dark conditions with its low noise capability at high ISO's. I use it for holiday photos and my grandauters dressage events also some family functions

I use it for Street Photography, great camera for use in all light conditions with low noise at higher ISO settings, intuitive menus for setting up the camera how I want it.
