I have now owned this jacket for about 35 years and have no complaints on it at all. I note that there have been some issues with the zip, I have no such issues.

Pay attention: there is quite a difference between the regular expedition down jacket and the lite version. I live in Rome, Italy, and the first one would have been way too warm here so bought myself the lite one which has 35% less down and is great for mild winters. I don’t wear it everyday but when it gets chilly I am so glad that I have it. Sizes run a bit large. I am 187 cm and 110 kgs with a muscular build, usually wear XL but I had to get an L which fits perfectly.
