I had my first kindle for almost 10 years before I upgraded to this 12th edition and I have zero regrets. Super easy to set up if you have the kindle app, you have just a few taps to approve transmitting your account to the new device and you're ready to go - your library is there and everything. Quick operation, smooth page turns, auto adjust screen brightness with an automated warm tone option for night ready if the bright white bothers your eyes. Also has light and dark mode options which is nifty. Wireless charging is also a dream, no more cables (although it does come with a USB A to C charging cable, just no adaptor). If you are big into reading, it's worth shelling out a bit extra for the signature edition's extra bells and whistles. If you are someone who only reads on holidays or don't care about wireless charging or auto brightness then, honestly the standard edition would probably suffice.

I absolutely love this Kindle. The screen is crisp and easy on the eyes, making it feel very much like reading a real book. The 7-inch display is the perfect size, and the device is lightweight and comfortable to hold for long reading sessions. The battery life is outstanding, and the setup was quick and easy. Syncing my existing Kindle library was seamless, and I was able to continue reading my books within minutes.

This new 12th gen is awesome (I came from a 6th gen, so a lot of wow factor for me) Love the warm light feature. Super responsive and great digital clarity. Would recommend any day of the week

I got this for my birthday and it's literally perfect!! The screen, the colour, the font. I must say I have about 35 books downloaded on it (don't judge) but I still have ALOT of storage left. so maybe it's better to go with the 16GB because ebooks dont take that much space(if ur going for storage) I wanted to spoil myself and it's was worth it. It does not fit into all pockets but still quite small and compact. bigger than your usual phone. also it says 35 GB but mine is 25. the battery is also very good
