Solidly built, metal chassis inspires confidence. Quiet in operation. Slightly annoying feature is that when on standby you get blue disco light with no option to disable it. Otherwise a great drive and its pair he's lasted more than three years so far.

We have 2 of these bought for a documentary project. Our team operates remotely and they are happy with the speed the units work in saving files and finding and opening files.

Seems great, I like it so far. It hasn't melted, run away or refused any data complaining it was tired or had a headache. It has been storing my data correctly and allowing me to access to it whenever I ask without sarcasm or backchat. But after a couple of months I'm not sure what else I can say about an external hard drive. The proof will be (as with most tech like this) in the long term pudding!

I do Video and Photo editing. I need a lot of storage for my raw files that is fast. This drive fits the bill perfectly. It was very fast to format the drive to NTFS and add bit locker. I have loaded on images and videos and had no issues what so ever. It is also almost silent which is great.
