DiMarizo: Great pickups, played by great players. Vai, Satriani, Pettrucci, Murray and Smith. I got into the brand through Iron Maiden's guitar players, (Muuray and Smith) whom, back in the day, used the Dimarzio Super Distortion almost exclusively. I've love this pickup in a 25.5" scale strat style guitar, as it provides some weight in the lows and mids, and fattens the high end so its not too squimish.
