Gardena Comfort Cut 23/18v P4a Elektrisk Gresstrimmer

Brought for my mother, who is extremely happy with this lightweight and easy to use strimmer.

Received this product recently. When opened, several scratches and other signs of usage were visible - I didn't feel I paid for a used product! Instead of returning back to Costco, I contacted Gardena distributor in Canada. They acknowledged it shouldn't be the case and someone will be contacting me later same day to arrange for a replacement. It's been 2 days since then and no news from them. I'll be returning it to Costco. I wish Costco addressed the issues with this supplier as I saw similar reviews for these products.

When I purchased this machine online last year there was no mention that the cutting blades are short plastic and have to be changed often. I will need to find replacement blades soon.

I bought this trimmer for the grass trimming feature. It works well. I am actually more impressed with the edging feature. The head pivots and the trimmer becomes an edger. It's terrific!
