It’s cold. I put on my jacket, spray Hero on, and step out the door. Already after the first few minutes, I notice how the scent changes. The dry cedarwood, the resinous warmth, and the slight sweetness merge into something that just feels right. For me, Hero is not a fragrance that needs to be loud. It comes across as strong, masculine, and self-assured, without being over the top. It gives me the feeling of staying calm, no matter what happens around me. That’s exactly what I like about it. Back then, I even had a bottle from the first productions. Maybe I’m imagining it, but to me, it was a bit more intense and rounded. Since then, I associate Hero exactly with that scent profile. For me, it’s perfect for cool spring and autumn evenings. Warm, resinous, slightly sweet, and simply pleasant. Not a fragrance that has to please everyone - but one that has its own character. And that’s exactly why I keep reaching for it.

This is the most aggressively loud fragrance I’ve ever tried. It’s overwhelming. Completely fills a room. Hard notes of peppery vanilla, spice, and tonka. It never dries down, stays the same for hours. Too much will give you a headache. But, if you’re looking for something warm, traditionally masculine, and highly impressionable then this is for you.

I also received the perfume as a gift from my mother and I don't wear it often. Personally, I find the scent very fresh and woody, to put it simply. In terms of vibe, I think it doesn't suit younger people, possibly more fitting for older men and perhaps in a business context. I find the scent too fresh, which, in my opinion, overpowers the woody notes too much.
