Carolina Herrera Chic 100ml Kölnervann

Carolina Herrera Chic is a fragrance that has worked very well for quite some time and will likely still work very well in 10-20 years. It smells very pleasant, friendly, sweet, woody, but definitely masculine. Not powerfully, strongly masculine, but rather masculine with a warm touch. I haven't smelled anything similar so far, so this DNA is unique to me (so far). The application area is more for dressier occasions, although you can also wear it daily if you want to appear more stylish/clean/groomed. I wouldn't wear it to the gym, but you can wear it to a party if you want to be chic ;)

The opening blast with its lemon and the watermelon is quite nicely done. In the drydown a sweet cinnamon/sugary aroma takes over, more a reminiscence of cinnamon candy than the actual brown-tube shaped spice. The base is awash with white musks, which are now rather dominant. The occasional burst of an ambery sidekick and whiffs of vanilla that are present from time to time cannot detract from the fact that until the end the white musks rule. I get moderate sillage, good projection and six hours of longevity on my skin, even after very liberal application. A spring daytime scent that starts off quite pleasantly but losing quality form the drydown on. It turns increasingly generic and overly synthetic, especially in the more recent times I sampled it. 2.75/5.

The product seems watered down. It smells good but not as strong. The scent doesn’t last long. I’m going to try buying from a department. Pretty disappointed cause I thought it would be a legit product from amazon. The seller was Amazon not a third party.

I love it but the perfume was broken. I just realized it when I arrived home several months ago.

So far this is one of my top 5 colognes. I love all of the CH colognes, the smells last long and I receive a lot of compliments.
