D&G pH EdT is a child of the 90s. But one that still knows the spice of the 80s. Opens citrusy with wood. Not the current-day punchiness, but rather subtle. It is all underpinned by a light floral touch. Once the initial smack has faded, a light sweetness of vanilla/tonka comes through with the spice of tobacco. Then comes the best part; as it dries down, the whole blend described above comes together. Simply beautiful. What remains in the end is a beautiful base of tonka and tobacco. But the citrus and lavender never quite leave the stage. Performance is very good. Easily lasts a full workday. I really like this one. An autumn-winter scent thanks to its sweetness and spice. Great stuff.
