Dolce Gabbana the one is a scent that is very beautifully complex and spicy but also a bit sweet. In my opinion, it starts better than any other perfume, but that’s about it. Unfortunately, it only lasts 2-3 hours and then it’s gone. I also think that it’s not worth the price and that Dolce Gabbana should sell the fragrance much cheaper.

I first came across The One for MenEau de Parfum, when a young man sat next to me on a train. I have to admit this young man smelt so good I had to ask him, what he was wearing. I knew I wanted my partner to smell this way too. I went into John Lewis cosmetic department and encountered a very polite sales Assiant, who was very knowledgeable about the product, which enlightened me and I brought the product. Dolce & Gabbana was the one.

The first time I bought it as a blind buy. Back then, I was pleasantly surprised by the scent, but it wasn't anything groundbreaking for me. Then, after years, came the second bottle. And whatever it was that convinced me the first time - this time it was much clearer: purely in terms of scent, this is probably the warmest and most inviting perfume I have ever smelled. A 10/10 for me. A wonderful fragrance for winter or in the transitional seasons in the evening. If it weren't for the short longevity. After about three hours, I can only perceive it if I smell it up close. Nevertheless, for cozy evenings, you don't need 8+ hours of longevity. Often 2-4 hours are completely sufficient - although longer would always be better, of course. All in all, however, from my perspective, the best performance from Dolce & Gabbana. Since you don't have to reach too deep into your wallet for the scent, it is an absolute must-have for me!
