Armani Code Eau de Parfum har en myk, blomsteraktig, sensuell lukt som fungerer godt for dag og kveld. Den varer vanligvis 7–8 timer med god spredning, men etter noen timer blir den en subtil hudlukt. Den er ikke den sterkeste lukten på markedet og kan være mindre merkbar i varmt vær eller på travle steder. Flasken er pen og luksuriøs, men lukten passer ikke alle som foretrekker en kraftig, frisk eller veldig frisk kolonge.

I thought, based on the product description, that there would be some contrast here. Mandarin (whether green or "normal") is almost completely crushed by a vanilla-cinnamon-creamy tonka bean. The nutmeg is in the same boat, it can only contribute a bit of spice now and then, but is completely powerless. A reviewer compared it a few days ago to The Scent Elixir for Him minus the fruitiness. I would agree with that (where I don't agree with his review are the incense notes, but oh well). So, against this code, a Bad Boy Cobalt Absolute smells almost complex, even though it also overdoes it with the "vanilla cream."

After my Code Profumo was slowly running out and unfortunately was no longer available, I was very pleased that Armani is releasing the successor or the "same" fragrance under a different name. The new Armani Code Eau De Parfum from 2024 smells very similar to its predecessor "Profumo". Since I still have the old original here, I can say that there is a difference and that Profumo indeed smells better. Nevertheless, you can place the Code Eau de Parfum on your shelf and especially wear it on cool days.

The Armani Code Parfum is one of my favorite fragrances from Armani. It is a fresh-sweet scent that comes from bergamot and iris. The clary sage with the bergamot leaves gives the fragrance green vibes. Later, it becomes sweeter with tonka bean and cedarwood, but in a masculine kind of sweet. I tested this fragrance in the perfumery, and I find it exudes elegance, freshness, and is perfect for a summer scent. For me, a successful fragrance from Armani.
