Jil Sander Sun er en tydelig sommerduft som ofte beskrives som solrik, strandaktig og nostalgisk, med klare assosiasjoner til solkrem fra 80- og 90-tallet. Mange brukere liker den varme, kremete og glade stemningen og synes prisen er svært gunstig, spesielt i et gavesett med dusjgelé. Eau de toiletten er overraskende sterk: den åpner kraftig, har god projeksjon og sitter lenge på hud og klær, slik at få spray er nok. Samtidig er dette en svært polariserende duft. Det nevnes ofte at den kan lukte syntetisk og til og med plastaktig, særlig i åpningen, og noen får lyst til å vaske den av med en gang. I sterk varme kan den søte og tette karakteren raskt bli for mye, så den fungerer bedre i moderate mengder eller på litt mildere sommerdager. Uttrykket er tydelig retro og ikke særlig moderne, noe som gir sjarm for noen, men er et minus for andre. Settet passer best for dem som liker intense, nostalgiske sommerdufter og vil ha en rimelig gave.

This scent is crazy! It goes through so many phases, a pure olfactory pleasure. it is a powdery paradise with a very high quality vanilla sensation. The leather and the oud are very subtle but they play their role perfectly. Bergamot is superbly overpowering and makes it even more versatile. I remembered the great reviews I read several years ago, and recently I was lucky enough to find a new one on the net so I didn't hesitate for a second, luckily! Being passionate for years I have been able to smell a large number of perfumes, chords, different notes, and believe me never anything like it. On the other hand, I can recognize at certain times the Thierry Wasser style and that makes me smile. One of my best discoveries, a big bravo Mr Wasser!

This is an unashamed clone of CK One. As such, many men may find it far too sweet and cloying and even cause headaches if oversprayed. It definitely needs to be labelled Unisex. It's suitable for summer use and has good long lasting performance compared to many fragrances with the word 'summer' in their name. It is still good value for those who love the powerful sweetness of CK One, but I didn't like it.

This is a great example of a not so well known fragrance that really should be talked about more. Its a really great clean and fresh fragrance for man. Long lasting more suitable for the summer and going out during the day. And as great as it is, it's also very cheap compared with other more popular fragrances. Really recommend that you try this one. Get the big bottle for extra value.
