L'Homme Lacoste er en moderne, fruktig-krydret herreparfyme med sitrus, rabarbra, ingefær, pepper, mandel og en base av tre, amber og litt vanilje.[2][10][12][14] Brukere beskriver den ofte som allsidig, lett å bære og godt egnet til hverdagsbruk, spesielt om våren og høsten eller som en generell allround-duft.[2][4][15][16] Duften oppleves som behagelig, myk og lite påtrengende, noe som gjør den godt egnet på kontoret og i situasjoner der man ikke vil dominere rommet.[2][4][15] Varigheten ligger ifølge mange omtaler rundt fem til seks timer, noen ganger en hel arbeidsdag, med en sillage som holder seg ganske diskret.[2][4][15][16] Samtidig mener flere anmeldere at projeksjonen er i svakeste laget og merker at duften etter en tydelig åpning raskt legger seg tett på huden.[2][4][8][15] Et gjentakende ankepunkt er at komposisjonen ikke er særlig original og ligner mange andre moderne mainstream-dufter; noen kaller den til og med generisk eller "håndsåpeaktig".[2][15] Det finnes også brukere som klager over at duften knapt etterlater spor på huden eller forsvinner raskt, mens andre synes varigheten er tilstrekkelig.[2][4][8][16] Hvis du ønsker en trygg, lett tilgjengelig og pen hverdagsduft, vil denne trolig fungere godt, men forventer du mye karakter, sterk projeksjon eller stor originalitet, bør du se etter noe annet.

Shower gel opening. Nice mid. But pepper too intense in the dry down. Can't stand it for very long.

The memory of the truly first good Lacoste from 2003, L`homme, inevitably comes to mind here. Many Lacoste flankers have hit the market since that long time ago, and none have been convincing. Until now, with this Timeless, which is pleasantly fresh at the start. The rhubarb is easily recognizable and is absolutely successful. Few fragrances have such a fresh effect as this Lacoste. The dissatisfaction with the Lacoste line is hereby ended. If Coty manages to continue this line in this style, success can return. Unfortunately, the efforts have been more focused on Balenciaga or Bottega Veneta, and Lacoste has been completely neglected as a brand. Perhaps this successful all-rounder will lead in a new direction. The longevity is not quite at 5 hours, which is a bit short, as it starts off very strong and ends with something vanillic like L`homme. The cedar note becomes quite prominent towards the end. For this price, it is a decent performance that exceeds expectations.

Hello everyone :) I discovered TIMELESS two weeks ago at my trusted DIAMANT perfumery and was absolutely thrilled! First, the fruity fresh rhubarb comes to the forefront and then fades into a ginger veil, GENIUS! (and that's saying something since I'm not really a fan of ginger). The longevity on my skin lasts a solid 5 hours, which I find very good for an EDT. If I had to categorize it for which season it could be used, I would lean more towards winter. In my opinion, I smell strong parallels to "Boss Scent". Whether it's just me, I have no idea. In any case, very strong sillage, truly fantastic for the price. And the longevity is almost just as good. The scent is by no means bad. But when I wear it, I find that after a short time it becomes too sweet and especially way too fruity for me. But that's a matter of taste... With the "fruitiness," Lacoste almost always has that... Somehow, I also see it as an all-rounder that I would gift. BUT I would prefer to buy Boss Scent because it appeals to me more. Price/Performance: 4 / (out of) 5
