Lalique Homme Lion 125ml Eau De Parfum

Along with a new fragrance over the Souk, I received a sample of Gotique Island . Many thanks for that to the wonderful Souk partner. I quickly looked it up, two short statements and average ratings. So I sprayed it on myself: The opening is fruity sweet canned fruit, no single fruit stands out, everything is somehow rounded off with hints of the base or maybe the "Solar Notes". After about 20 minutes, the base of spicy patchouli comes in. Thank goodness without much vanilla. Nothing more happens. Solid, consistent scent progression. A sweet fruit cocktail with a spicy patchouli base lasts a good 8 hours. The 80s-90s comparison fits well here. In summary: Solid fragrance from the last century. Those who miss these scents will find a worthy replacement for little money here. An all-rounder for the whole year, not annoying, not in the foreground. You can do it for the money, but you don't have to. I don't have to.

If I could describe this scent, is an experience at a vintage French Barbershop. Very clean vintage scent. More subtle and refined than a typical barbershop scent. Two thumbs up. Please, the container is beautiful. Etched glass.

The Lalique pour Homme Lion Eau de Parfum is a fragrance that I have had sitting on my shelf for ages. Finally, the time has come to test it thoroughly. I find the opening absolutely beautiful, but then the fragrance takes a direction that doesn't quite captivate me. The longevity on my skin is about 8 hours with a solid sillage. The top note smells pleasantly floral with lavender, but also citrus-fruity and fresh with bergamot, mandarins, grapefruit, and lemon peels. The heart note brings green-herbaceous aromas of rosemary, artemisia, anise, and bay leaves into the fragrance. Iris and violet add a certain powderiness. The base is a bit too earthy for me due to vetiver and patchouli. Additionally, it has a resinous-woody scent from Virginia cedar, sandalwood, and rosewood. The Lalique pour Homme Lion Eau de Parfum is a quite successful fougère, but something tells me that older versions of this would convince me more.

Lalique Pour Homme Lion, is sensational. Given the overpriced offerings available for a masculine man today, lion is superior to most. Lasts between 6 to 12 hours too and its been around for over 25 years now and should be in every man's collection.
