Great sound quality and instructions. When you first open it, let the foam windshield thing air out as it stinks like crap, but after a day you can't smell it at all. Happy with the purchase.

Solid setup. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! Very little forgiveness in the treads. This is my second one. For the price its great and solid build. I wouldn't want to hold it myself too long due to its weight but I usually have it on a light stand and holder, static.

The only knock on this gem is that the screw threads which mount it to a shock mount is exceptionally long, and takes forever to cinch it tight. It's a minor annoyance. Other than that, it works well. The grip on the bottom 2' is a nice touch. Not all of them have that.

This thing works as a back up boom, but it should never be considered as a primary. The joints WILL wear out and become inoperable with regular use. I was able to save my pennies and buy a professional grade boom, and the difference was extraordinary. I know the price tag is appealing, but skip this if you can.
