M-Audio BX5D3 er en populær studiomonitor med svært flat frekvensrespons og kraftig 100W bi-amp-forsterkning. Acoustic Space Control og allsidige tilkoblinger gjør den fleksibel i ulike studioer. Lydkvaliteten er klar, men bassen er begrenset og subwoofer kan være nødvendig. Enkelte brukere merker en topp i øvre bass, som kan justeres. Lett forvrengning kan forekomme ved høyt volum. Totalt sett gir BX5D3 svært god ytelse for prisen.

Just a friendly warning: Try to listen to them before buying if possible. These are maybe suitable for studio work but for music listening they are pretty awful. The sound is not warm, it lacks the soul and even after a month it just does not feel right, I did not get used to it. I listen to electronic and guitar+vocal music mostly and I really miss the warmth and the mid range clarity and precision the BX5 lacks. Maybe this is how studio monitors should sound like but definitely you'll get a better pair for the money.

Happy with the speakers. However I get interference. Which I've read can be causes by a power source or interference from other electronics

These really are a great sounding speaker. I have them connected to my Yamaha subwoofer and Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB audio interface. Totally recommend them. The highs are outstanding and mids are very clear. I have no complaints.
