Good Points: All the ports are powered. If you run a stand alone USB hard drive on a non powered port it can corrupt the hard drive.

It's a pretty decent hub, but after some weeks of use mine started restarting when I use some ports.

Good Points: Using 2 of these with unraid running 2 windows 10 gaming vms with usb passthrough. Connected devices Razer keyboard/mouse connected Corsair RGB mouse mat Corsair light towers Not dropped or lost connection to any devices

This hub was fine for weeks but now it keeps dying on me. Once a day the connection to it basically resets. Quite annoying. Startech gets 2 stars instead of 1 for allowing reviews on their site.
