Excellent printer and scanner. I’m so happy I pupate combination as I’ve used the scanner heaps!

I recently upgraded and I love everything about this printer, all except double sided printing. It's not automatic and you have to reload the paper a certain way, it's such a modern printer yet weirdly unable to do a basic function itself through settings.

Bought this mid-2023, and it worked fine for the first few months, until we started encountering a lot of problems. The printer would not print out properly and would spit out blank pages instead of documents. It was not an issue with the ink. I checked countless times and have bought ink and replaced it for so many occasions, thinking it had run out, only for it to still not print what I needed. The printer is also supposed to tell you if it is experiencing any issues, but so far, it is constantly displaying that it is fine even when it is not. Honestly, just a waste of money for the whole printer itself and all the ink I had to buy. Would not recommend.

Everytime I try to print I am prompted with an update which is unnecessary. The problem is that when new, i could print from a remotely even when not on the same wifi. Upon updating this facility was lost and can only print when on the same wifi as the printer. Aren't updates tested by Brother? If yes, why does this happen?

Ink cartridges would last a longer time than my other printer.
