Years later still works perfectly and scan indicates still has 100% life. I wouldn't recommend getting anything smaller for gaming as PC games are becoming larger in size. Prob worth the extra money to get closer to 500gb now that prices of SSD's have decreased but no complaints with the brand at all.

You will not get the "Data Transfer Rate 3,938 MB" per second currently posted on the Amazon product page. You will not even get close the 2100/1100 Max Read/Write "may vary" transfer rate that is currently in the Transcend data sheets. After contacting Transcend customer support I was told that the TS128GMTE850 will only do a maximum read speed of 1060MB/s and a maximum write speed of 600MB/s.

I'm going on 4 years since I've purchased 2 of these drives, they have performed the same as the first day I got them, no degrading at all. I am extremely happy with them. I will purchase a bigger one in the future, very impressed with the brand.
