Noisy, cheaply made grinder. I know because mine is failing, and as I work through Baratza's troubleshooting videos and take the machine apart, all I find are cheap plastic parts. You can simply do much better for $400. Baratza's vaunted support is more like a nightmare - you get passed back and forth from phone to email by very nice people while NOTHING HAPPENS. This has been dragging on for 3+ weeks without resolution. No Baratza, no Lelit. Nope, never again. We were able to locate your purchase, and it appears you’ve had this grinder since 2020. Based on that timeline, it seems the grinder has been in service for about six years, which is actually a fairly solid lifespan for a home grinder in this category. We understand your frustration regarding the plastic components. If you’d prefer something with more metal construction and a warranty handled directly through us, our sales team would be happy to help you explore alternative options that may better fit what you’re looking for!

I researched and researched for grinders to be paired with my Profitec 400. I know I wanted a grinder that could hold my portafilter and grind by weight and I didn’t want to break the bank. This grinder has made my work flow so much better! It has micro adjustments to get that perfect grind for the perfect shot. Worried about fresh beans? I keep mine in an airtight container and pour enough beans to last me about 3 days, the beans won’t taste any different in that amount of time. Grinding is not messy, the static is minimal and I’m extreme happy with my order!

I've got to admit, as a traditionalist, I was a bit skeptical of the Sette. Light and easy to move. Cleaning and maintenance is a breeze and it works beautifully. After two tries I had the large dial adjusted and two more the micro adjust. A true pleasure to use.
