Canon RF - Makrolinse - 24 mm - f/1.8 Macro IS STM - RF - for EOS RF Mount

This lens is a good all purpose focal length, light weight, stabilized and even macro focusing. Great value walk around lens!

I bought this lens, along with the RF 24mm F1.4 to carry out a back to back test. To cut a long story short, I ended up keeping this lens and returning the F1.4, reason being, the image quality difference was not sufficient to warrant the significant price difference. The F1.4 image quality is superior - but not by a lot (my opinion from real life testing). The Image Stabilisation on the F1.8 is also a bonus.

The Canon RF 24mm F1.8 Macro IS STM is a useful lens for many types of photography thanks to its wide angle of view, macro focus, and background-blurring aperture.

Good all round 35mm. Has good close up performance. Very good for low light conditions. Great results for urban nightscape photography.

It’s a good lens on a full frame body, but on my aps-c it’s terrible. Being a 56mm equivalent, it loses ALL of its 35mm qualities (when not used on a full frame). It renders a 2D flat and boring image on my R50
