Canon RF - Telefoto objektiv - 85 mm - f/2.0 Macro IS STM - RF - for EOS R3

I bought this a few weeks ago and love it , great quality pictures and its lightweight . At an affordable price

I didn’t buy the lens for any of the above listed reasons. I bought it because it conformed to how I am seeing things these days. A bit tighter and a bit closer where a slightly wider lens( 50mm or 35mm) would change the perspective and orientation of what I was attempting to record. As with every RF lens I have purchased recently it’s wonderfully sharp.

I bought this lens from Canon UK with the R8 Mirrorless camera about 6 months ago and although the lens takes superb images and the autofocus is great when working.....every so often it will go out of focus and not respond to focusing again...so have to resort to switching he camera off and on again.

I bought this lens as a replacement for an RF85mm F2 Macro that I accidentally dropped down the stairs of my home. Therefore I knew in advance what I was buying. The lens is great for portraits which is the primary reason for me buying the original one and then buying a replacement when the first one got damaged. The focus is quick and precise and the image quality is, in my opinion, perfect.

I really enjoy this lens. It’s smooth, the image stabilisation and auto focus have been effective during events and functions. I would recommend it. Great depth of field and creamy background.
