Ordered this on backorder and very happy with this lens once it arrived! Super sharp, and pairs well with my Lumix S5II and 2X Panasonic Teleconverter. At 1200mm with the 2X teleconverter the stabilization and autofocus is excellent, its able to lock on and focus with easy with clear sharpness handheld! On the tripod, it works well for capturing planets and the moon, if you're quick. Keep in mind, it is a heavy lens and best used on a tripod, but can be used handheld if you're up for the challenge. Don't forget, it comes with a 7 years warranty. Incredible value.

Only had this for a few weeks but love it already. It's well built and is confidence inspiring which is exactly what a beginner wildlife photographer needs.

Good Points: Easy to use. Solid feel. Switches operate cleanly. Not mega heavy. Integrated well on the L mount for my Lumix s5ii Improvement Points: Nothing of note after use.

Good Points: + Great auto-focus for a third party L-Mount lens + Sensational image quality + Loads of custimisation options + The new tighten swith is a life saver + Can be combined with the Sigma 1.4x and 2x teleconverters for mind blowing reach + The best wildlife / sports lens on the L-Mount system Improvement Points: + Heavy + Doesn't zoom internally so more risk of dust ingress (not most current super telephotos zoom externally too) + The lock, tight and smooth switch could be better designed + Some chromatic abberation wide open when shooting towards the light

Good Points: Sharp quick auto focus . .not as big as i thought. Fits into my old lowen pro bag tight .. but fits. Seems well made and weather sealed... quite big in small hands but worth every penny Improvement Points: Weight....but expected
