Billingham Hadley Pro Ryggsekk

As usual Wex are terrific. The Billingham bag is of excellent quality, looks good and both waterproof and durable. Not to my taste for photographic gear I am afraid.

Absolutely brilliant bag, after a week. The leather closures were very tight at first, but they have loosened up now. I've used several brands, and until this Domke were my favourite, so i'm looking now to get the Small Pro. They are expensive, but worth the price, and Castle Cameras had the sage one in stock, and it was £10 cheaper than anywhere else! It's my local camera store, and I feel very lucky!

My original Billingham Hadley insert had become sticky inside (hardly surprising as it was used when I bought it about 25 years ago!) I spoke to Billingham who confirmed the correct size insert, they also assured me the new inserts are rather better than the original 80's design. I hunted around, Wex were one of the very few stockists who actually had one in stock and were also cheaper than the rest! Delivery was very quick, all in all Wex service was superb.

I agree with Alex Knight and Jack Reacher that this insert is perfect for third party bags. My partner bought me a Khaki 335 some 20 years ago and I use that for my Leicaflexes, I've also got a 307 for a Nikon D1X. I've carried my pair of Leica M4-P bodies and lenses in a small man bag but wanted something bigger. Remembering I'd bought a black leather laptop-type bag in Hugo Boss that I'd not used, I decided to try the Billingham Hadley insert. Perfect. Like others have said, does not look like a camera bag and I can get my Filofax in now instead of a titchy notebook.
