Pentax PAPILIO II 6.5x21, BaK-4 Porro, 6,5x, 2,1 cm, Sort, 446 g

Crisp, clear, beautiful view. Low magnification is crucial to achieve wide field of view, excellent depth of field and hand held stability, Tbe close focus is remarkable. Best value for money in small binocular category.

Perfect for butterflys, other insectd and flowers. Very close focus.

Good Points: They do what they claim, i.e. show a clear image of an object at a much closer range than a conventional set of binoculars. Improvement Points: The field of view is not brilliant but this is as expected.

Good Points: I purchased these binoculars for my girlfriend who is very interested in butterflies. And the close focus is perfect, allowing her to study butterflies in detail at close range and at further distances. And the compact size and weight means she isn't carrying to much extra weight in her backpack when on fieldtrips.

Good Points: I use them when out looking for insects. They are excellent at giving good views without having to get too close. I am very happy with this purchase and used them just today looking for small moths on Herm. It is so easy to appreciate the fine markings.
