Polar Grit X Pro Sort er en svært robust utendørs sportsklokke med safirglass og militær holdbarhet. Klokken har omfattende sports- og treningsfunksjoner, pålitelig GPS og pulsmåling, og en batteritid som er tilstrekkelig for de fleste brukere. Grensesnittet og berøringsskjermen er ikke alltid helt jevne, og mangelen på TOPO-kart kan være et savn for eventyrlystne brukere. Prisen er høyere enn forrige Grit X, mens batteritiden er lik. For idrettsutøvere som verdsetter treningsanalyse og robusthet, er dette et utmerket valg.

The item I received was faulty, kept randomly doing a ‘factory reset’. A quick search online can reveal that this is an issue had by a number of people with this model of running watch so not just a one-off

The Polar Pacer is a running watch first and a good one, but it can do more, and it offers a lot of what you'll find on Polar's pricier watches for much less. If you can live without mapping and navigation features or some of the richer training insights and performance tests, then this is a solid little performer. There's still some elements in the design we don't absolutely love, but it offers good hardware and software for the money and is a good alternative to Garmin and Coros sports watches at this price.

The Polar Grit X Pro is a better outdoor watch than the first Grit X, and added features from the Vantage V2 means it’s a better training partner too. The boost in durability and those software extras come at a bigger price than its predecessor, and some of the new Pro features are coming to the first Grit X too. If you want the best outdoor watch that Polar has to offer though, this is the one you want on your wrist.

However, price has jumped, and you can pick up a Fenix 6 Pro for around the same price now, which is arguably the better equipped outdoor watch. If you're sold on Polar's software, training and analysis and like the idea of richer sleep tracking and useful suggested workouts, then the Grit X Pro is a solid outdoor watch option to consider too. You just might be able to get more for your money elsewhere.
