Super Smash Bros 3DS har et stort og balansert utvalg figurer og mange flerspillermuligheter, noe som gjør spillet morsomt for ulike spillertyper. Spillopplevelsen er dyp og tilgjengelig, og den visuelle stilen passer godt til Nintendo. Lokal flerspiller er ofte ustabil, og online har ofte lag. Enspillermoduser er mindre omfattende og blir fort ensformige. Med fire spillere kan den lille skjermen være uoversiktlig. Dette bør vurderes, spesielt for flerspillerentusiaster.

Does not support any local multiplayer mode. Each DS owner needs to buy a cartridge to play this multiplayer.
