Alien Isolation på PS3 gir en svært intens og skremmende opplevelse, spesielt på grunn av den smarte og uforutsigbare Alien-AI. Atmosfæren og historien er sterke, men spillere må ofte gjemme seg lenge, noe som kan bli repeterende. PS3-versjonen har merkbart svakere grafikk og ytelse enn nyere konsoller. Mangelen på ammunisjonslaging og knappe ressurser gjør det ekstra utfordrende. Enkelte deler av spillet er urettferdig vanskelige på grunn av skript eller AI, noe som kan føre til frustrasjon. For fans av survival horror og Alien-universet er det anbefalt, men forvent en tøff og tidvis frustrerende utfordring.

Had high hopes for this game, but...not very good, way to slow of a pace, the makers of Resident Evil should do the Alien games, I think that would be much more enjoyable.

Scary, but I loved it. I wish they would make a sequel. Some people have said it's too long but I don't think so. It was great value for money.
