Solid well made product that does what it says on the tin. However using a wall socket is the only way to provide power to the charger. No USB port to allow charging by that method....a more modern option. That said I believe it was worth the price.

Good product, genuine item. I always prefer to use original products as risk to equipment is much lower.

Just like the headline- I like knowing that my camera battery is less likely to fail or set itself on fire whilst charging (I’ve never quite got round to trusting cheap third party chargers or batteries), but Sony do seem to charge a hell of a premium on their camera peripherals. Quality and build seem solid and it’s not disappointed- so piece of mind at a premium price.

Better than the charger that came with the camera (A7Rii) simply because you can see how much the battery has charged. Item was posted promptly, same day, well packed.

This is a very good battery charger but it is a genuine Sony product.
