I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He says it works great for styling his hair. He's tried a lot of different products and finally has one he really likes.

Great hair clay product! I have used for years (at least 8 years) as I never had any issues including the "flaking". It can keep your hair healthy if you wash your hair with right shampoo. The best shampoo to wash out the clay is Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree. Or American Crew Peppermint (discontinued). Most Tea Tree shampoo should be able to wash it out OK. This product is great if you have very thick and short hair. Medium long is OK as long you use little bit of clay but not too much. Make sure hair is dry to use it. I like how I do not have to blow dry to use it. None of the other American Crew hair holding product works for my thick hair.

I like that it's. It sticky but gives me the gold i need, it's light and makes my hair smooth

Much like American Crew's Fiber, this product is high hold and made for short hair (about 1-3 inches in length). It's one of my favorite products to use after haircuts when my hair is short. Molding Clay differs from the Fiber because it has a shine. It will give something closer to a "gel/wet" look, but without hardening and the product remains malleable so you can restyle throughout the day (hence a "greasy" feel as opposed to the "sticky" feel of the Fiber). If you have hair that's longer than about 3 inches, the product will likely feel too greasy (just as Fiber feels too sticky in longer hair). You gotta know your styling products - they're not made for a one-fits-all length/style. I've never had an issue washing it out. All American Crew products I've tried are water-based and wash out easily.
