Good Points: I'm switching to Sony from Canon, having a good selection of Canon glass L series lenses, with the lenses it supports it works flawlessly. Improvement Points: I have one Canon L series 24 to 70mm f2.8. This lens unfortunately does not currently react to the focus and metering.

I'm very pleased with the Tokina f2.8. This is my first wide angle and love the amazing bokeh along with the sharpness it achieves.

I purchased this when I upgraded from the d7000 to the D700 (and now D750). I found the Tokina 11-16 to be such a phenomenal lens, especially for the price. It's very sharp and great in low light. I was disappointed to learn it wouldn't work on my full-frame and had to sell it and buy the 16-28. I did expected the same performance for the 16-28. The low light performance is as good as the 11-16, but I really find the images from the 16-28mm are simply not as sharp. I am disappointed and I find that I often avoid using this lens unless I have to as I am not as satisfied with the sharpness and don't want to waste time editing subpar photos. That being said, it does produce nice sun stars.
