Quick and easy to install. Lots of apps pre loaded which is nice. Huge positive for us that you can download the DSTV stream app.

I've been using the Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. Setup was quick and straightforward, and the Google TV interface is smooth and easy to navigate. Apps load quickly, streaming quality is excellent, and the 4K picture with Dolby Vision looks fantastic on my TV. The included remote is responsive and user-friendly, with dedicated buttons for popular streaming services. I also appreciate the voice control feature through Google Assistant, which makes searching for content much easier.

The box it self has no problem although with help from others I could manage to get Youtube up and running - you still have to cast from your phone as this is how the Youtube set up is. The other apps like Netflix, Spotify and others can you do with the remote. Yes will recommend it for sure.

Bought this for my dad for my birthday. The main thing I wanted was for the box to be stable amd fast, and to support android apps. Boy am I satisfied!! the response of the box is perfect. the remote works effortlessly. and I even changed the interface to apps only mode so its extreamly simple and easy for my dad to navigate through. So far its supported all apps amd apk's I've downloaded with no issues and my dad can use it with ease without me needing to buy him a whole smart tv.
