Following a major storm in which lightning struck not far from the house, I bought an RJ45 adapter, works very well, as advertised in the shop...

I used it to replace the Ethernet port on my motherboard, which was out of order. No problem, just plugged it into a USB and connected it to the network via the Ethernet.

I bought this in a shop and the sales assistant gave me some very good advice. Many laptops today have very few ethernet ports and I think it's important to have this type of product.

A small network adapter that does the job. Works well on Linux and Windows. It's a great help when you don't have an RJ45 port on your machine or if you need an extra port.
