Works great - nice compact/portable POS+ network switch. I use this to demo audio streaming equipment that requires true POS+ power. This switch performs great - I also like that it has an on-board On/Off switch.

Not really a con but there is no on/off switch so you have to cut power to it in order to turn it off. Not a big deal but it cant be good for the board to lose power all of a sudden.

240 watts from a box this small needs some forced-air cooling. Some might consider the fan a bit loud - indeed, you probably wouldn't want to install this in a living space. I have mine in a hall closet and the fan noise is barely audible when the closet door is closed.

We have installed this into a large warehouse to handle the access control and camera system. Since this switch has 8 ports, 7 of them will be usable, powered ports, and 1 port will be the uplink. This switch has up to ~35W per port available.
