Polar H10 Size XS-S

I get the feedback I want but the interface between my smart phone health system and Polar system a little cludgey.

Out of the box this Heart Rate Monitor has been defective. It took half and hour to get it paired with my phone, and I now suspect it was because it couldn't maintain a Bluetooth connection long enough to complete the pairing until I got lucky on my last attempt. After finally getting it to pair, it won't maintain a connection for longer than a minute; it drops the connection and then reconnects a few seconds later. These dropouts showed up in training data in Polar's apps, on the watch it was paired with via ANT+, and on the treadmill it was connected to. Following troubleshooting did not fix the problem. Perhaps I got unlucky and got a rare defective unit, but reading these reviews here and elsewhere make me think that it's not that rare, except perhaps how quickly the problems appeared. Returned for refund.

I bought this chest strap HRM as a replacement for a generic OTF brand one I’d had for nearly 10 years. On this one, the sensors stopped working after 6 months and Polar warranty doesn’t cover damage to the chest strap. What a waste of money. They want me to spend $65 to replace the strap. No thank you.

I will have to return this unit because the provided M-XXL strap is too small. I am a size large, but the provided strap is too tight at full adjustment. My strap can be adjusted to 33 inches (excluding clip), which doesn't correspond to the specification of any of the available strap sizes.

I was very happy with this device until the recent firmware update. After updating, it no longer works with my Technogym treadmill. Technical support has been unresponsive and not helpful, and there’s no way to roll back to the previous firmware. Until compatibility is fixed or a rollback option is provided, I can’t use it with my treadmill and wouldn’t recommend it to Technogym users.
