Synology - DDR4 - modul - 4 GB - SO DIMM 260-pin - 1333 MHz - ikke-bufret - ECC - for Disk Station DS1621+

I LOVE THIS THING!!! I setup my Synology with 7 drives at 8TB each so far. I maxed out the memory at 32GB. I also have 2 M.2s in there for Cache, and running SHR (Synology Hybrid RAID).It runs super smooth. Before I got this, I was just JBODing everything on external hard drives and had duplicates of almost everything, only some I had started to organize and others were however I copied them. The 8 bay may have been a bit much, and I probably could have gotten away with a 6 bay, but I'm still happy. Synology's software is easy to use and I haven't run into an issue that I couldn't solve by using Google/YouTube. I've been able to go thru and run deduplication on my files. It's a bit tedious, but well worth it in the end. I've only scratched the surface of what this thing is capable of, but I want to get all my files in order before I start trying other things.

I have a Slim620 Model of Synology NAS before. Now I upgrade to this DS1621xs+ model. Mostly it meet my requirement. Large volume and fast internet connect. I upgrade to 16GB memory as well as 2 M.2 2TB SSD. The only thing I can complain is the noise. Much louder than my previous model. I have to put it downstairs. Otherwise, I will give a 5 star rating.

Love my NAS great for a pandemic Plex server. Make sure to get NAS drives not desktop drives.

I've had this up and running for about a week and it's been great easy setup and easy to use. Mainly use as a plex server and so far no issues.
