I replaced a dead ubiquiti wired router with the Asus EBG15. It was plug and play ready and it already had all my wired connections communicating before I could even access the console to tweak the settings. The console has plenty of customization optionss and gives the admin plenty of control over your network. I even have a ubiquiti WAP (Wireless access point) connected to the Asus router; and, it had no compatibility issues whatsoever. Its very user friendly, reliable, and at a great price point! Oh, and it has 3 year manufacturers warranty!

The ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 Gigabit VPN Wired Router is not for everyone. For one, it has no built-in Wi-Fi, and the fact that there’s no Multi-Gig port means it’s stuck at Gigabit-class bandwidth. However, for those with modest bandwidth needs, it’s an excellent wired router that can quickly turn into a host for a powerful mesh system when you add a couple of Gigabit-class AiMesh broadcasters to the mix. Within that niche, at a suggested price of less than $100, it’s a steal .
