Oakley MOD1 Skihelm Senior er laget for ski- og snowboardkjørere som ønsker en minimalistisk, freestyle-inspirert hjelm med moderne sikkerhetsløsninger. Den lette in-mold-konstruksjonen og lave profilen kombinert med BOA 360°-passformsystemet gir en tettsittende og presis passform rundt hele hodet, noe som oppleves komfortabelt gjennom lange park- eller bakkedager. I MIPS-versjonen økes beskyttelsen mot rotasjonskrefter ved fall ytterligere, og Fidlock-spennen gjør det lett å åpne og lukke hjelmen selv med hansker. Fast ventilasjon sikrer jevn luftstrøm, og avtakbare, vaskbare øreputer og fôr gjør det enkelt å tilpasse hjelmen til ulike værforhold. Ulempene er manglende justerbar ventilasjon, høyere pris for MIPS-modellen og at det tydelig freestyle-orienterte designet og en relativt enkel funktionspakke ikke vil passe alle allmountain- eller toppturbrukere.

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.
