This isn't the monitor I wanted when I was looking to buy, but this was way better than spending an extra 500 dollars during this market shortage and getting gouged.

I have to restart my computer every time I want to connect. It is either that or I have to unplug and then plug back in the connection cable. Works fine on PS4, but for the amount of money you pay you can find MUCH better options out there. I do not recommend

I have an old ROG 1440p monitor that I was using for many years, and I have to say this monitor blows it out of the water in terms of quality. Things are much more crisper and brighter compared to the ROG, and the larger resolution is really nice as well. I mainly do casual gaming, so I haven't really noticed a difference between using this monitor and the ROG. My main use-case is software development, and I have no complaints. The value to quality ratio on this monitor is just insane.

Let me start by saying I am a professional photographer/videographer of 15+ years and own a production studio. I know monitors and color. Maybe I got a bad egg, but... No matter how any times I calibrate it, no matter how much I tweak prior to calibrating, I cannot get the colors accurate at all. It always calibrates with a red tint. Out of the box, it has a blue tint, but it's livable. The contrast is weak, it's either too washed out, or not enough contrast. I haven't really tried the HDR as it serves me no purpose in my work flow. As a regular monitor for the average user, it's a decent monitor. Can recommend it. But for anything more than the average hobbyist, I'd look elsewhere. Back to the drawing board in the search for a decent workhorse.
