Great monitor before half the screen went out. First 4K monitor and I ‘loved’ it before sending it in for ‘service’. If it didn’t take a crap after 3-4 months maybe I’d give it more stars but with the cost of it, there should not be any problems, especially across multiple customers (it’s a known issue).

This is NOT as advertised. Came out of the box with vertical banding and no way to resolve satisfactorily. Returned it thinking it was a singular issue. Got another one, SAME PROBLEM. If you're a gamer that is willing to spend a little more money for better quality, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

If just for display, this monitor is fine. But a premium monitor is not just for display. It is dispointing from a lot of perspectives. 1. The DP2.1 is misleading, and I do really hate such misleading. Especially when you have received it and it can't deliver the expectation. 2. The monitor is terrible, it sounds like a garabge monitor. Since I need a monitor, and the other good ones (e,g,: msi 321urx) deal end, I may still keep it, but I probably don't want to buy any LG monitor anymore. LG monitor keep dispointing people by the detail, even though the display is fine.

The monitor is generally good, but for the price, the pixel density (PPI) is low, and it lacks HGiG for console HDR calibration.

The reason for the 3/5 stars is for a couple reasons. 1) They REMOVED the Pixel Sound technology that's in the 32GS95UE Model. This monitor instead comes with generic horrible monitor speakers. Now yes, most people use a headset but man the Pixel Sound technology is so amazing, and I don't know why it was removed. 2) The DP 2.1 spec is misleading as it is only UHBR 13.5 (54 Gbps). This means DSC is STILL needed in order to get the full 4k@240hz. Why not just have the full UHBR20 spec? Makes no sense. Do NOT buy this monitor if you already have the 32GS95UE, that should be an obvious one.
