We bought this to replace a much larger scanner/printer and found it to be a good machine for scanning. Options are a bit limited but are still enough for our scanning needs. Would recommend this product.

I use it for architectural work. It is a fast, quiet scanner. I really like the single pass double sided scanning for letter and tabloid size. One small complaint (and one star): The software does not allow you to send scans directly to network printers.

Went through two of these scanners - the first jammed on each scan and the second reported a jam in the ADF that did not exist. Both scanners were in our office for less than a day before having to be returned. Epson support (obviously outsourced) was absolutely useless and wanted me to send the item back after some basic troubleshooting. Newegg was great, replacing the item once, but the replacement was just as bad if not worse. Two problems were enough and I ended up returning the scanner for a refund
